For over two decades we have helped hundreds of accident victims and their families. We are people who have lost loved ones in an accident. We volunteer our time to help new accident victims and their surviving families by sharing our knowledge and experiences.

The Funeral Assistance Grant is a charitable, needs-based grant awarded to help surviving family members pay verified funeral and burial expenses for a deceased loved one. Assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not create any ongoing obligation to provide additional funds beyond the specific grant amount awarded.
The primary purpose of the Funeral Assistance Grant is to reduce the immediate financial burden of funeral arrangements on grieving families so they can focus on mourning and honoring their loved one rather than worrying about costs. The grant is designed to cover or offset reasonable funeral and burial expenses and may complement other victim compensation or assistance programs when those resources are insufficient or not yet available.
The Living Expenses Grant is a one-time, needs-based grant intended to support immediate family members or primary caregivers of a person who has suffered a catastrophic injury in an accident and is undergoing extended ICU or long-term hospital care. The grant can be requested by a spouse, domestic partner, parent, legal guardian, or another responsible individual, and is awarded at the sole discretion of Accident Victim Assistance after review of documentation such as accident reports, medical records, and proof of current bills. Assistance is determined case by case and does not create an ongoing obligation to provide future funding beyond the specific amount and period approved.
The purpose of the Living Expenses Grant is to ease the financial strain on households whose income and stability have been disrupted because a loved one is critically injured and in intensive medical care. Funds are meant to help cover essential monthly living costs—such as rent or mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation to the hospital, childcare, and other critical expenses directly related to the injury.

During the consultation, an experienced personal injury lawyer reviews the facts of the accident, explains what claims may be available, and answers questions about insurance, medical bills, lost wages, and other damages. The conference call is arranged for the victim by Accident Victim Assistance representatives as part of the support services authorized by the victim in the Assistance Authorization and Consent form.
